LONDON —

British police say a Chinese businessman wanted for the killing of four members of the same family has been extradited from Morocco.

Central England's Northamptonshire Police said Wednesday that Anxiang Du was arriving on a flight from Casablanca.

Du, who was detained in Tangiers in August 2012, is the prime suspect in the killings of Jifeng "Jeff" Ding, his wife Ge "Helen" Chui and their two daughters, 12-year-old Alice and 18-year-old Xing.

They were all found stabbed to death at their home in Wootton, central England, on April 29, 2011. The shocking case and the manhunt for Du sparked significant media interest.

Police say Du is scheduled to appear at Northampton Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
