Casualties and attacks in the Israel-Hamas conflict since the fighting began:

- At least 74 Palestinians, both militants and civilians, have been killed in Gaza.

- Three Israeli civilians have been killed and more than 60 injured by Palestinian rockets.

- Gaza militants have fired more than 1000 rockets at southern Israeli communities since the start of the operation. Of them, 544 exploded inside Israel, the military said.

- Israel says its Iron Dome missile defense system has intercepted about 290 rockets.

- The Israeli military says it has hit more than 1,200 military targets in Gaza.
