President Obama and GOP challenger Mitt Romney debate at 6 p.m., then at 8 p.m. final gubernatorial debate in Seattle, co-sponsored by The Seattle Times and KING 5.

Debate doubleheader is tonight

6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday: President Obama and Mitt Romney meet in a town-hall setting in Hempstead, N.Y., to debate domestic and foreign policy. Moderator: CNN's Candy Crowley.

8-9 p.m. Tuesday: Final gubernatorial debate in Seattle, co-sponsored by The Seattle Times and KING 5. Panelists include KING's Robert Mak and Times political reporter Jim Brunner.

6-7:30 p.m. Monday: Presidential debate in Boca Raton, Fla., to focus on foreign policy. Moderator: "Face the Nation" host Bob Schieffer.
