SAfrican court denies terror suspect's bail appeal
Authorities say a South African High Court has denied a bail appeal for Henry Okah, a terror suspect arrested in Johannesburg after deadly bombings in Nigeria's capital during independence celebrations.

Authorities say a South African High Court has denied a bail appeal for Henry Okah, a terror suspect arrested in Johannesburg after deadly bombings in Nigeria's capital during independence celebrations.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Mthunzi Mhaga says Thursday's ruling will likely be upheld if Okah appeals.
Okah's trial under South African anti-terror legislation is set for Feb. 11, but could be postponed.
Prosecutors say evidence drawn from Okah's diaries and computer correspondence has bolstered accusations he was behind the Abuja bombings. Okah was denied bail late last year, before appealing the ruling. He denies involvement in the Oct. 1 attacks that killed at least 12 people.
Okah's brother Charles and three others, accused for the same attack, were denied bail in Nigeria in December.
