Sub Pop celebrates the label's 25th anniversary in July with a comedy benefit for charity and a day of free concerts. The comedy night features Eugene Mirman, David Cross, Kristen Schaal and others. Proceeds go to radio station KEXP, Northwest Harvest and the Northwest Parkinson's Foundation. 7 p.m. Friday, July 12 at the Moore Theatre, 1932 Second Ave., Seattle; $25 (877-784-4849 or stgpresents.org). Concerts include performances by Mudhoney, Built to Spill, Metz, Shabazz Palaces (with THEESatisfaction), J Mascis and many others, 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Saturday, July 13, Georgetown neighborhood, Seattle; free (silverjubilee.subpop.com).
