Seattle's Minus the Bear — Jake Snider (vocals, guitar), David Knudson (guitars), Cory Murchy (bass), Alex Rose (keyboards, saxophone) and Erin Tate (drums) — presents material from its fifth full-length album, "Infinity Overhead," produced by original band founder Matt Bayles. The group's dovetailing of hard-edge, electronic-tinged indie rock and punchy choral vocals earned its latest album a respectable No. 31 slot on the Billboard album chart earlier this year. 8 p.m. Saturday at Showbox at the Market, 1426 First Ave., Seattle; $25 (888-929-7849 or www.showboxonline.)
