Hear Japandroids: www.youtube.com, search "Japandroids," "The House That Heaven Built."
Depending on how well-versed you are in modern Canadian indie rock, Japandroids is a breath of fresh air or more of the same. The duo makes earnest, romantic guitar anthems that could go on a mixtape with Wolf Parade, Constantines and Weed. The thing is, all of those bands are great. On the right night, Japandroids might save your soul. Japandroids performs with Bleached at 8 p.m. Monday at Neumos, 925 E. Pike St., Seattle; $16 (206-709-9467 or neumos.com).
