A picnic on a lawn, in the long summer twilight, serenaded by your favorite band: If you want to make this picture come true, you'd better start planning now. Tickets are already on sale for some of the season's most in-demand shows.

Here is a selection of upcoming concerts — outdoors and in — between now and Labor Day. More will be announced along the way. Note that dates and times are as changeable as the Northwest's summer skies, so call ahead to confirm.
