Live Nation announces new electronic music festival

Live Nation has mounted a new festival, Paradiso, as a cooperative venture with Northwest electro-Meister Chad Anderson. Two headliners have been announced so far, Swedish DJ Avicii and Dutch producer Afrojack. Paradiso takes place June 23 at the Gorge Amphitheatre, in George, Wash.

Responding to the swelling interest in electronic music, from trance to dance, Live Nation has mounted a new festival, Paradiso, as a cooperative venture with Northwest electro-Meister Chad Anderson. Anderson's USC productions is behind the hugely successful electronic bashes at Seattle's WaMu Theatre. Two headliners have been announced so far, Swedish DJ Avicii and Dutch producer Afrojack. Paradiso takes place from 2 p.m. June 23-2 a.m. June 24 at the Gorge Amphitheatre, in George, Wash. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday (800-745-3000 orwww.ticketmaster.com).
