Hot off three Grammy nominations, Coldplay has announced a North American tour, with a stop at Seattle's KeyArena on April 25, 2012. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 17.

The tour also visits Vancouver, B.C., on April 20, and Portland, Ore., on April 24. The British alternative-rock band topped charts in 34 countries with its most recent album, "Mylo Xyloto." Two songs from that recording were nominated for Grammys — "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" in the categories of best rock performance and best rock song (a songwriters' award), and "Paradise" for best pop duo/group performance.

Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets (800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com).
