Bumbershoot's 2011 lineup ranges from hot hip-hoppers such as Wiz Khalifa to vintage hit machines like Hall & Oates, with a liberal sprinkling of popular local acts — Macklemore, The Lonely Forest and Minus the Bear among them.
The day-by-day music schedule for the Labor Day weekend music and arts festival is being announced today by producer One Reel, though more names may yet be released.
One Reel has simplified its pricing this year: Through Sept. 2, single-day tickets are $35. Three-day passes are available for a discounted price of $75 while supplies last but will eventually rise to $90. Children 10 and under are admitted free. All tickets gain access to headline shows and the rest of the festival on a first-come, first-served basis.
Several premium passes are also available; see www.bumbershoot.org for details.
Starting Sept. 3, prices go up to $45 for a single day. Senior/ADA discounts ($29) will be available at the gates. The festival runs from Sept. 3-5 at Seattle Center.
Here's the lineup so far. (Note: The Presidents of the United States of America and Brite Futures are also confirmed, but dates for those two acts are to be announced.)
