Carols and klezmer wind up Seattle Presents' 2009 concert series.
Seattle Presents
The free lunchtime concert series winds up 2009 with a Hanukkah vs. Christmas showdown. Tuesday, the Medieval Women's Choir sings Spanish and Italian holiday selections from noon to 1 p.m., Seattle Municipal Tower, 700 Fifth Ave., Seattle. Thursday, the Klez Kats offer "joyous klezmer, lilting waltzes, mysterious gypsy and Middle Eastern music influenced by Jewish tradition and culture," noon to 1 p.m., Seattle City Hall, 600 Fourth Ave., Seattle. The series resumes with a luau Jan. 7, featuring Hawaiian ukulele star Taimane and local ukeleleist Del Rey, noon to 1 p.m., Seattle City Hall (206-684-7171 or www.seattle.gov/arts/community/seattle_presents.asp).
