Movie Bargains
Where to see discounted films in the Seattle area for the week of Nov. 23.
Where to see discounted movies:
"Looper," "Frankenweenie" and "Brooklyn Castle"
They're new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: "The Bourne Legacy," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Brave" ($3).
"Frankenweenie," "Silent Hill: Revelation," "Fun Size" and "Looper"
They're new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle ($5.75).
"Holy Motors"
It's new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: "The Master" and "A Late Quartet." All seats on Tuesday are $7.
"2001: A Space Odyssey"
It's the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.
"Skyfall"
It continues at the Big Picture Seattle. The 3 p.m. shows Friday- Sunday and the 5:50 p.m. shows Monday-Thursday are $8.
"Casablanca" and "The Naked Gun"
They play this week at the Central Cinema in Seattle. "Giant" plays Sunday only. All shows $6-$8.
"How to Boil a Frog"
It plays 7 p.m. Friday at Keystone Congregational Church in Wallingford. Free, but donations appreciated.
"Savages"
It's new at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.
"Chasing Mavericks," "Frankenweenie," "Looper" and "Silent Hill: Revelation"
They're new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: "House at the End of the Street," "ParaNorman," "The Expendables 2," "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Bourne Legacy," "Brave" and "Ice Age: Continental Drift" ($3.50).
"Finding Nemo 3D," "Looper," "Fun Size"and "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D"
They're new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: "ParaNorman," "House at the End of the Street," "Brave 3D," "Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D" and "Ted" ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
