Movie bargains
Where to see discounted films in the Seattle area for Nov. 2-8.
Where to see discounted movies:
"Beasts of the Southern Wild" and "Hope Springs"
They're new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: "Sleepwalk with Me," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Moonrise Kingdom" and "Brave" ($3).
"Beasts of the Southern Wild," "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," "Resident Evil: Retribution"
They're new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle. Also there: "The Campaign" ($5.75).
"The Loneliest Planet" and "The Other Dream Team"
They're new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: "Somewhere Between" and "Searching for Sugar Man." All seats on Tuesday are $7.
"Alien"
It's the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.
"Dave" and "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas"
They play this week at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.
"Paul Conrad: Drawing Fire"
It plays 7 p.m. Friday at Keystone Congregational Church in Wallingford. Free, but donations appreciated.
"The Campaign"
It's new at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.
"ParaNorman," "The Possession" and "Hope Springs"
They're new at the East Valley 13 in Renton. Also there: "The Campaign," "Resident Evil: Retribution," "Brave," "The Expendables 2," "The Odd Life of Timothy Green," "The Dark Knight Rises," "The Bourne Legacy," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days," "Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D" and "The Amazing Spider-Man" ($3.50).
"The Possession"
It's new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: "Resident Evil: Retribution 3D," "The Campaign," "The Expendables 2," "The Bourne Legacy," "Brave 3D," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" and "Ted" ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
