Movie Bargains
Where to see discounted films in the Seattle area.
Where to see discounted movies:
"Sleepwalk with Me" and "The Campaign"
They're new at the Crest Cinema. Also there: "ParaNorman," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Moonrise Kingdom" and "Brave" ($3).
"The Campaign," "ParaNorman" and "House at the End of the Street"
They're new at the Admiral Theater in West Seattle ($5.75).
"War of the Buttons"
It's new at the Varsity Theatre. Also there: "Somewhere Between" and "Searching for Sugar Man." All seats on Tuesday are $7.
"Scream" and "The Lost Boys"
They play this week at the Central Cinema in Seattle. All shows $6-$8.
"Let the Right One In"
It's the midnight movie at the Egyptian Friday and Saturday. All seats are $8.25.
"The House I Live In"
It plays 7 p.m. Friday at Keystone Congregational Church in Wallingford. Free, but donations appreciated.
"Phantom of the Opera" (1925)
It plays at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John United Lutheran Church, 5515 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle. $5 suggested donation.
"Magic Mike"
It's new at the Tin Theater in Burien this week. All shows $8.
"The Campaign," "The Expendables 2" and "Resident Evil: Retribution 3D"
They're new at the Gateway in Federal Way. Also there: "The Bourne Legacy," "Brave 3D," "The Dark Knight Rises," "Ice Age: Continental Drift 3D," "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days," "Ted" and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" ($2, all seats on Tuesdays $1).
