Witness local band Tomten's cryogenically frozen and thawed '60s pop sound, expertly produced and written into a tight, slow pop song on "So So So." There's something about the studiedness of it that sounds like it should be happening in a museum, and video director Jacob Rosen achieves a similar effect by simulating a concert in a house decorated just-so with a modern furniture and well-dressed people, arranged like a somewhat sterile case study for a research project on "party."
