Some really beautiful stuff here from Seattle's Kid Smpl, flagship act of the Hush Hush label run by KEXP's Alex Ruder, specializing in night bus music — meaning tunes which sound good at night, on a bus. The coin-plinking, gun-cocking, oddly serene "Pulse" is a world unto itself; the images in the video send it to another level.
