Capitol Hill arts space Cairo is back with its second "Vibrations" music fest at Volunteer Park, a daylong dive into local garage rock, noir-ish folk, hip-hop-esque dance music and ambient styles — all for free, Aug. 25. The first "Vibrations" crystallized the Cairo arts movement; I wrote about that here. As with all things Cairo, this year's edition promises much uniqueness, with several one-night-only collaborations between musicians. The deal:
Dantasia (a special project by Truckasauras)
King Dude
Night Beats
White Rainbow and OC Notes
U.S.F. and Secret Colors
Witch Gardens
Stickers
Erik Blood
Detective Agency
