Seattle rapper Macklemore (profiled here) is readying a new album, "The Heist," and about to embark on a crazy-ambitious world tour, stopping in Seattle Oct. 12 at WaMu Theatre. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday. On KEXP 90.3 FM this morning, Macklemore told DJ John Richards the "Heist" concerts would be "competitive with anyone" as far as production level, and said for those who think they know him: "This is going to be something completely different."
