"Bully" by Fearce and Bean

Local duo Fearce and Bean, whom you might know from the four-man group Dyme Def, have released "Bully," a song written from the perspective of a bullied teen who decides the only way out is suicide. Check the video here, and the lyrics below:

Bully — fully aware of his cruelty
He went to school with me
Pushing and pulling me
Telling me I should go kill myself, fooling me
The other kids just watch
It was embarrassing what he would do to me
I hide it from my parents
"I fell down"
I was lying to my parents
Denying it was Terance
I just know what he'll do to me if I point him out
I really know he would ruin me if I run my mouth
Now I'm scared to even leave my house
Acting sick, wanna quit, it was a risk
It's like I'm screaming
And nobody can hear me
Even in a crowded room it's like nobody's near me
Mr. Invisible
Feeling so miserable
This bully's so physical
Tried to get spiritual
But all this praying ain't fixing it
I just stay getting this
The teachers ain't listening
Just forget it

Just tell me this is all temporary
I hope this is all temporary
The bully

Bully — fully aware of his cruelty
He went to school with me
Schooling me
None of this is new to me
He made a fool of me
Being bullied ain't cool to me
Losing my cool
He better cool it
Or I'ma lose it
And one day I'm a prove it
He seen my weakness and he abused it
Now I'm sitting here feeling useless
He won't decide when I die
I'ma choose it
What's the point of my existence
He's so consistent
His mission is to make me hate the fact of living
And honestly I think that I'ma give in
I hope I'm forgiven for doing what's forbidden
The name calling, the bruised ribs
I guess I'm just another kid I see on those news clips
My so-called friends afraid to speak up
I know they just afraid of getting beat up
The principal told me that I should stop complaining
I tried martial arts to try and get some training
But he counterpunched at lunch and left me laid out
I think we all know there's only one way out
