Atmosphere is Twittering about Seattle rapper Raz
Warning: swearing
Seattle rapper Raz unleashes a raging flood of feelings on "They'll Speak" over drums-less orchestral music. The combination of what he's saying and the rapid-fire way he's saying it is powerful in a really unique way.
The song starts —
"How do we fly?
Why do we lie?
Where do us bad people go when we die?
Heaven or hell?
Is it a lie,
or should I just pray just in case they were right?"
— and gets a lot deeper and more personal from there.
Raz is a voice to listen for on the local scene. But like LeVar Burton said, don't take my word for it. Famous Minnesota rapper Atmosphere agrees:
oops. i referenced the wrong twitter account. his twitter is @RazLife. and his video is "they'll speak" t.co/1eZrzEpB. #inspired
