Grizzlies hammer Rainiers

The Fresno Grizzlies battered four Tacoma Rainiers pitchers en route to a 9-2 Pacific Coast League victory Saturday night.

FRESNO, Calif. — The Fresno Grizzlies battered four Tacoma Rainiers pitchers en route to a 9-2 Pacific Coast League victory Saturday night.

Corey Hart hit a solo homer for Tacoma, and Ty Kelly doubled and scored another run on Gabriel Noriega’s single.

Logan Kensing (6-3) took the loss, allowing three runs in 32/3  innings.

At Tri-City 8, Everett 1

James Alfonso doubled and scored on Jordan Cowan’s single in the ninth inning for the only run the AquaSox scored in this Northwest League game.
