Three home runs, 19 hits and a five-run first inning help Tacoma end the suspense early.

SALT LAKE CITY – Abraham Almonte, Stefen Romero and Jesus Montero bashed home runs in a 19-hit attack as the Tacoma Rainiers pounded the Salt Lake Bees 14-7 in Pacific Coast League play Tuesday night.

Almonte led off the game with an HR, sparking a five-run first inning, and Tacoma jumped to a 14-1 lead.

Canadians 6, AquaSox 5

Vancouver went up 4-0 in the fourth and held on. DH Corey Simpson had two hits and three RBI for Everett.
