El Paso hands Tacoma 4-3 loss

The Rainiers manage just five hits in road loss to Chihuahuas.

Adam Moore’s double in the seventh inning drove in the go-ahead run as the El Paso Chihuahuas earned a 4-3 victory over the visiting Tacoma Rainiers on Friday night.

Donn Roach (1-1) pitched five hitless innings before allowing two runs on two hits in the sixth. He allowed six walks but earned the victory for El Paso.

Tacoma got to 4-3 in the eighth on Nick Franklin’s RBI single, but managed just five total hits.

Spokane 10, at Everett 4

Juremi Profar was 3 for 3 and drove in four runs as the Indians dumped the AquaSox.
