Everett AquaSox lose 5-2 at home to Spokane

Spokane rallied for four runs in the seventh inning and knocked off the Everett AquaSox.

Spokane rallied for four runs in the seventh inning and knocked off the Everett AquaSox 5-2 on Thursday night in a Northwest League game before 1,893 at Memorial Stadium.

Catcher Adam Martin had a solo home run for the AquaSox (4-10).

Center fielder Austin Cousino had three hits and is batting .318 this season. Chris Mariscal added two hits for Everett.

Spokane (11-2) third baseman Jose Trevino went 3 for 4 with two doubles.

Rainiers postponed

• Thursday night’s series opener at El Paso for Class AAA Tacoma was postponed when the Rainiers’ luggage, equipment and uniforms did not arrive. The game will be made up as part of day-night doubleheader on Saturday.
