Tacoma shuts down Reno, 7-0

Humberto Quintero hit two doubles and drove in four runs to help the visiting Tacoma Rainiers to a 7-0 victory over the Reno Aces on Tuesday night.

Rainiers starter Jordan Pries allowed five hits in five scoreless innings. Stephen Pryor allowed one hit in three innings and Logan Bawcom allowed one hit in the ninth to complete the shutout. Pries (2-1) struck out five and walked two.

Nick Franklin hit a solo homer, his fifth, in the fourth inning and also had two singles for the Rainiers, who had 12 total hits. Ty Kelly drove in two runs and scored twice.

Reno’s Didi Gregorius and Nick Evans each had two hits.
