TACOMA — Back-to-back walks with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth inning enabled Tacoma to score a 3-2 victory over Las Vegas in Pacific Coast League baseball Monday.
The 51s broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the ninth on a homer by Taylor Taegarden. Then, Tacoma’s Xavier Avery, Chris Taylor and Humberto Quintero all singled to load the bases. Jesus Montero and Ty Kelly drove in runs with walks.
