Tacoma Rainiers beat Las Vegas

TACOMA — The Rainiers erupted for five runs in the eighth inning and went on to defeat the Las Vegas 51s 6-4 Friday night in a Pacific Coast League game before 5,739 at Cheney Stadium.

Erasmo Ramirez started for Tacoma (14-12) and allowed one run and five hits in 52 / 3 innings.
