Ji-Man Choi’s one-out double in the ninth brought Cole Gillespie home with the tiebreaking run, and the Tacoma Rainiers held on for an 8-6 victory over the host Albuquerque Isotopes on Monday.

Jesus Sucre had three RBI for Tacoma.

The Rainiers return home Tuesday to face Salt Lake City at 6:05 p.m. Taijuan Walker is expected to make the start as he continues to rehab from a shoulder injury. The right-hander has made two minor-league starts, the first for Class A High Desert and the second for Class AA Jackson.
