Tacoma earns 1-0 victory over Colorado Springs in 11 innings

Carlos Peguero’s force out with the bases loaded in the 11th inning scored the only run in Tacoma’s 1-0 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox before 2,920 at Cheney Stadium on Monday night.
Nate Tenbrink singled around two walks in the 11th for the Rainiers before Peguero’s grounder scored Abraham Almonte (3 for 4).
Hector Noesi allowed one run in six shutout innings with seven strikeouts.
Forrest Snow (3-0), the last of five Rainiers pitchers, picked up the win.

A ninth-inning rally by the AquaSox came up short as the Eugene Emeralds held on for a win before 2,867 fans at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Malquiel Brito’s RBI double in the seventh proved to be the difference.
