Top pitching prospect Taijuan Walker had his third consecutive rocky outing in the Rainiers’ 8-4 Pacific Coast League loss to Iowa.

TACOMA — Top pitching prospect Taijuan Walker had his third consecutive rocky outing in Tacoma’s 8-4 Pacific Coast League loss to Iowa on Sunday.

Walker lasted only three innings, giving up seven hits and five runs (three earned). In his past three starts, the 20-year-old right-hander has a 7.71 earned-run average.

Abraham Almonte went 3 for 4 and Joseph Dunigan and Jason Jaramillo hit back-to-back solo homers for the Rainiers (61-55).

Boise 10, at Everett 5

Rony Rodriguez homered twice for Boise in a Northwest League victory.

Justin Seager drove in two runs with a pair of doubles for the AquaSox (31-20).
