Rewind: Live chat with former Mariner pitcher Jeff Nelson

Jeff Nelson was one of the toughest setup relief pitchers during his exceptional 15-year major league career.

He played three stints with the Mariners (1992-95, 2001-03 and 2005) and still holds the record for most games pitched in franchise history.

Nelson was also a Yankee twice (1996-2000 and 2003) and won four World Series titles with the Bronx Bombers.

After retiring, he turned to broadcasting and is currently an analyst with MLB.com.

Nelson answered questions about his playing days in Seattle, the M's current squad and more during a live chat on Aug. 2.
