Rainiers win on Triunfel's homer in ninth

Carlos Triunfel's tiebreaking, one-out home run in the bottom of the ninth inning gave Tacoma a 6-5 victory over Memphis on Sunday.

TACOMA — Carlos Triunfel's tiebreaking, one-out home run in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Tacoma Rainiers a 6-5 Pacific Coast League victory over Memphis on Sunday before 5,341 at Cheney Stadium.

Triunfel is batting .458 (11 for 24) in his past seven games.

Nate Tenbrink and Mike Zunino also homered for the Rainiers (26-18).
