Rainiers beat Tucson 4-0 for seventh straight win

TACOMA — James Gillheeney and Danny Farquhar combined on a six-hitter as the Tacoma Rainiers won their seventh straight Pacific Coast League game, 4-0 over Tucson on Tuesday night at Cheney Stadium.

Gillheeney (1-0) struck out nine and allowed four hits and a walk in 6-2/3 innings.

Nick Franklin went 3 for 3 and Carlos Triunfel hit a two-run single for the Rainiers (16-10).
