LAS VEGAS — The Tacoma Rainiers posted their first series sweep since 2010 as a 5-3 victory Sunday over Las Vegas gave them four Pacific Coast League baseball triumphs in a row.

A two-run rally in the seventh inning was the difference for the Rainiers (14-10). Stefen Romero, with a single, and Carlos Triunfel, with a double, each drove in a run in that inning for Tacoma. Eric Thames and Rich Poythress each had two hits for the Rainiers.

From team reports.
