LAS VEGAS — The Tacoma Rainiers scored five runs in the first inning in a 8-2 victory over the Las Vegas 51s Saturday night.

Michael Saunders led off the game with a triple, Nick Franklin singled, Eric Thames doubled, Alex Liddi and Mike Zunino followed with singles, Rich Poythress finished the hitting barrage with an RBI double and Nate Tenbrink plated the final run with a sacrifice fly. Saunders also doubled in a run in a three-run ninth.

Jeremy Bonderman earned the win, allowing two runs on four hits in six innings with four strikeouts.
