Paxton hit hard in Rainiers loss to Salt Lake

Tacoma starter James Paxton was knocked out after getting only five outs, and Salt Lake hit four home runs in a 13-11 win over the Rainiers Monday night.

SALT LAKE CITY — Tacoma starter James Paxton was knocked out after getting only five outs, and Salt Lake hit four home runs in a 13-11 Pacific Coast League win over the Rainiers Monday night.

The 24-year-old Paxton (1-2) allowed eight hits, including two homers, and six runs in 1-2/3 innings.

Mike Zunino went 2 for 3 with a double and four runs batted in for the Rainiers (9-10).
