TACOMA — Alex Liddi's three-run homer highlighted a five-run fifth inning as the Tacoma Rainiers earned a 7-3 victory over the Salt Lake Bees in a Pacific Coast League game Monday night at Cheney Stadium.

Joseph Dunigan (2 for 4) and Carlos Peguero sandwiched solo home runs around Liddi's homer, and the Rainiers took a 5-2 lead.

Andrew Carraway (1-1) picked up his first win, allowing three runs, two earned, on seven hits in 5-2/3 innings. He had six strikeouts and allowed a solo home run to Luis Rodriguez to lead off the sixth inning.

The Rainiers only managed four hits against the Bees, all off Barry Enright (1-1). He struck out seven but walked five and gave up the three homers in 5-2/3 innings.
