Carlos Peguero leads Rainiers past Sacramento, 7-4

Carlos Peguero singled, doubled, homered and drove in three runs in Tacoma's 7-4 PCL win over Sacramento.

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Carlos Peguero's two-run single keyed a six-run Tacoma seventh inning in a 7-4 Pacific Coast League win over Sacramento Wednesday night.

Peguero also homered, doubled and drove in three runs for the Rainiers (5-2). Mike Zunino went 1 for 5 with a run-scoring single for Tacoma.

Jhonny Nunez (1-0), Yoervis Medina and Danny Farquhar combined for 4-1/3 scoreless innings in relief of Rainiers starter Andrew Carraway.
