LAS VEGAS — Alex Liddi's three-run home run in the fifth inning provided the margin as the Tacoma Rainiers held off Las Vegas for a 7-5 Pacific Coast League victory Monday night.

Anthony Gose hit a two-run single and Yan Gomes hit a three-run homer to right.

Andrew Carraway had allowed just two hits into the fifth, but ended up allowing five runs on four hits in 4-1/3 innings. Brian Moran (3-3) pitched 2-1/3 perfect innings to earn the victory.

Darren Ford had two doubles and scored three runs and Luis Rodriguez was 4 for 5 with two doubles and two runs batted in for the Rainiers. Liddi also had an RBI double in the first.
