NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Taylor Green hit two of Nashville's four home runs as the Sounds beat the Tacoma Rainiers 7-2 in a Pacific Coast League game Friday.

Tacoma right-hander Andrew Carraway (4-7) lasted only one inning, allowing five hits and five runs.

Nick Franklin doubled home a run before scoring on a Luis Antonio Jimenez single in the eighth inning for the Rainiers (53-74).

AquaSox crushed

VANCOUVER, B.C. — Vancouver roughed up Everett left-hander Scott DeCecco for nine runs in less than four innings on the way to a 14-3 Northwest League rout of the AquaSox.

Jamodrick McGruder, Taylor Ard and James Zamarripa each had two hits for Everett (10-14).
