Luis Jimenez had three hits and two runs batted in as the Tacoma Rainiers beat the Oklahoma City RedHawks 7-4 Wednesday night in a Pacific Coast League game before 4,539 at Cheney Stadium.

TACOMA — Luis Jimenez had three hits and two runs batted in as the Tacoma Rainiers beat the Oklahoma City RedHawks 7-4 Wednesday night in a Pacific Coast League game before 4,539 at Cheney Stadium.
Vinnie Catricala hit a solo homer in the fourth inning to break a 2-2 tie. The Rainiers (47-65) got two more runs in the fifth and two in the eighth to pull away.
At Emeralds 2, AquaSox 0
Will Scott and two relievers combined to throw a three-hit shutout as the Eugene Emeralds beat the Everett AquaSox in Northwest League action.
Scott pitched the first six innings, allowing two hits and striking out five. Christopher Nunn (3-0) had two innings of one-hit ball and earned the victory. Roman Madrid pitched the ninth for his 10th save.
Ronnie Richardson's two-out RBI triple in the eighth inning broke a scoreless tie with the AquaSox (4-4).
