TACOMA — The Tacoma Rainiers snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 4-3 victory over Tucson in the Pacific Coast League on Wednesday.

Luis Jimenez drove in two runs, helping the Rainiers take a 4-0 lead after five innings.

The Rainiers jumped ahead 2-0 in the first inning.

Darren Ford led off with a single, and then scored from first on Nick Franklin's single. Jimenez drove in Franklin on a ground out to the shortstop.

Luis Rodriguez made it 3-0, scoring on a sacrifice fly hit by catcher Brandon Bantz. Designated hitter Jimenez drove in Tacoma's final run with a single to right that scored Ford.

Tucson's Jesus Merchan hit a three-run home run in the seventh.

The Volcanoes scored three runs with two outs in the ninth inning to rally past the AquaSox.

Trailing 4-3 in the ninth, the Volcanoes got a single by Kentrell Hill and a walk from Matt Duffy.

Joseph Rapp's two-run single just past diving left fielder Jamodrick McGruder gave Salem-Keizer a 5-4 lead.

Taylor Ard had a double, single and drove in two runs for Everett, Ketel Marte had two hits and one steal, and Mike Zunino scored two runs.
