River Cats pound Hector Noesi in rout of Rainiers | Minor leagues
Noesi allowed an eight-run fourth inning in the 14-3 loss.

The Sacramento River Cats lit up former Mariners starter Hector Noesi for 10 runs, including an eight-run fourth inning, on nine hits en route to a 14-3 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers in a Pacific Coast League game Thursday in Tacoma.
Grant Green had a three-run homer in the fourth for the River Cats, and Kila Ka'aihue added a two-run shot later in the inning.
The Rainiers (41-56) managed 10 hits, led by Carlos Triunfel, who went 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored.
Noesi (0-1) was replaced in the fifth inning by Jandy Sena, who allowed five hits and four runs in four innings.

Mike Zunino, the Mariners' first-round draft pick, scored the go-ahead run in the seventh on a wild pitch to help lead the AquaSox (25-9) to victory in a Northwest League game. Zunino went 3 for 5 with two doubles for Everett.
