AquaSox rocked hard by Volcanoes, 11-4

KEIZER, Ore. — Matthew Duffy hit a grand slam in the second inning and finished with six runs batted in, leading Salem-Keizer to an 11-4 Northwest League victory over the Everett AquaSox Wednesday night.
Duffy finished 3 for 5 to lead a 12-hit attack by the Volcanoes.
Four Salem-Keizer pitchers combined for eight scoreless innings before Everett finally scored in the ninth.
Christopher Taylor and Taylor Ard each had a pair of singles and Jamodrick McGruder got his league-leading 15th stolen base for the AquaSox (24-9).
Catcher Mike Zunino, the Mariners' first-round draft pick who came into the game 7 for 15 in his first four games as a pro, was 0 for 2 with a pair of walks.
