TACOMA — Luis Rodriguez homered and drove in a run to lead Tacoma to a 4-1 victory over the Las Vegas 51s in a Pacific Coast League game Wednesday night.

Rodriguez drove in Carlos Peguero in the fourth for a 2-1 lead, and Vinnie Catricala stole home to make it 3-1. Peguero's RBI double made it 4-1.

Blake Beavan earned the win, allowing one run on five hits in six innings.

Las Vegas' Jamie Moyer, 49, will face Danny Hultzen, making his Tacoma debut, on Thursday night.

Everett tops Vancouver

EVERETT — The AquaSox scored three runs in the fourth inning in a 5-3 victory over Vancouver in the Northwest League.

Everett's Ketel Marte had a two-run triple, and Alfredo Morales was 3 for 4.
