COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Chad Tracy singled, doubled, homered and drove in three runs, leading the Colorado Springs SkySox to a 5-4 Pacific Coast League win over the Tacoma Rainiers Monday night.

The Rainiers scored in the ninth on Nick Franklin's RBI single, but cleanup hitter Luis Antonio Jimenez grounded out to first base to end it.

No. 9 hitter Scott Savastano went 3 for 3 and Franklin, Jimenez and Alex Liddi each had a pair of singles for the Rainiers (31-46).

Tacoma right-hander Jarrett Grube (0-5) took the defeat, allowing eight hits and five runs in five innings.

Reliever Brian Moran, in his second appearance with the Rainiers since being promoted from AA Jackson, struck out two in a perfect ninth.

AquaSox hammer Vancouver, 13-2

EVERETT — Taylor Ard drove in five runs with a grand slam and solo homer, powering the Everett AquaSox to a 13-2 Northwest League win over the Vancouver Canadians.

They were the first two professional home runs for Ard, a first baseman from Washington State. He's batting .359 for the AquaSox (7-3).
