Rewind: Live chat with Tacoma Rainiers outfielder Trayvon Robinson

Trayvon Robinson is a promising outfielder in his first full season in the Mariners' organization and is currently playing at Class AAA with the Tacoma Rainiers.

He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 10th round of the 2005 MLB draft and was acquired by the M's last July in a three-team trade that sent Erik Bedard to the Boston Red Sox.

Robinson made his ML debut with Seattle on Aug. 5 and played in 44 games in 2011.

As of Wednesday, he had played in 57 games this season for the Rainiers and is batting .266 with 6 home runs and 27 RBI.

Robinson talked about his career in baseball, trying to make it back to the majors with the Mariners and more in a live chat June 7 on seattletimes.com.
