Single-game Mariners tickets go on sale Saturday

The heightened anticipation for a new season of Seattle Mariners baseball was evident Friday in the 20 or so people camping out in front of Safeco Field Friday, getting their place in line for tickets. Their wait ends Saturday morning at 10 a.m. when single-game tickets for all 81 Mariners home games will go on sale.

The heightened anticipation for a new season of Mariners baseball was evident Friday in the 20 or so people camping out in front of Safeco Field on Friday, getting in line for tickets.

Their wait ends Saturday morning at 10 a.m. when single-game tickets for all 81 Mariners home games will go on sale.

In a news release, the team said that there are a limited number of tickets available for their home opener April 12 against the Oakland Athletics. It is expected that those tickets will sell out within a few minutes.

The team says fans can purchase tickets without a service charge at the Safeco Field Box and at all Mariners Team Stores. Tickets are also available at www.mariners.com, by phone at 206-622-HITS, and at all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.

Mariners six-game FlexPacks, 16-game plans, half-season and full-season plans guarantee tickets for opening day while that supply of tickets lasts. More information on ticket plans is available at www.mariners.comand by calling 206-346-4001.

The team says there is a limit of 12 tickets per person for opening day, and for the center-field and left-field bleachers for all games.
