Reader feedback: Coping with plastic-bag ban in Seattle
Seatttle Times staff
From small ethnic groceries to major chains, retail stores across Seattle are preparing for Sunday, when a plastic-bag ban takes effect. In fact, if you've been grocery shopping lately, you may have noticed that many stores have already made the switch.
In the weeks leading up to the law taking effect, there's been a lot of discussion around all the alternative uses that people have for plastic bags. In a world of multi-tasking, we're finding ways to reuse many things, including plastic bags. Using the form below, and using your own creativity, tell us what other uses you've found for all those bags you've wedged in between your refrigerator and pantry. And what will you use instead for that task when your bags run out? See what others have answered.
You can also Tweet us (@seattletimes) your responses using the hashtag #bagban.
